To celebrate the close of Microsoft Build and Spring exams coming to an end, Reactor London is thrilled to invite students from London and across the UK to Microsoft Build: Student Developer Drop-in DayRegister now 

This Open House is a drop-in event - come along to the bits which are most relevant to you!

Meet with fellow students, Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors, Microsoft Interns, Microsoft MVPs, the Microsoft University Recruiting team but most importantly relax and have fun.

Find out more about what happened at Microsoft Build and discover Microsoft Learn. Meet local data scientists, web devs and cybersecurity engineers for hands-on talks about their recent experience and careers. We’ll introduce you to the Student Ambassador program and Imagine Cup by sharing moments of innovation from the past 20 years. And we’ll talk Microsoft internships.

You’ll also be able to take part in a special AI Gaming Challenge!


This is your chance to celebrate, grab a bite to eat, swag some swag, learn something new and meet someone fresh in the Microsoft community.

This lightning session will introduce how to activate and get started on using Azure with Azure for Students and the different capabilities + solutions you can build with the services available on Azure for Students.

A quick look at the Microsoft Learn landscape and how students can leverage the content to kickstart their learning journey.

11.00 – 12.00: AI Gaming Challenge

We are going to be using the A.I. power of Azure Cognitive Services to play a popular card game. AI will analyse the images on each tile and to determine what subject matter each image contains.

12.40 – 13.10: Power Platform Low Code No Code Development

This lightning session will introduce and showcase how students can take advantage of the Microsoft Power Platform to build apps and automated solutions without writing any code

13.10 – 13.40: Career Festive – What roles are in Microsoft for interns and Grads

14.20 – 14.30: Rock your Profile and Resume Builder with LinkedIn

A lighting session that will provide tips on how to make your LinkedIn profile stand out amongst the crowd, in addition to a tutorial on how to use LinkedIn resume builder to generate your CV!

14.30 – 14.40: Microsoft Certifications and the road to a tech job

17.00 – 18.00: BUILD AI Gaming Challenge Final

The Grand final of the Microsoft Build Match Game – Match the tiles using the Microsoft Cognitive API to identify the subject of each image Use template code to get started with Computer Vision and OCR A.I. functions and become the world wide wider of the challenge.
