MTC Weekly Roundup – August 26

This post has been republished via RSS; it originally appeared at: Microsoft Tech Community - Latest Blogs - .

Happy Friday, MTC! I hope you’ve all had a good week.

Here’s a quick review of what’s been going on in the Community.

MTC Moments of the Week

This week, our MTC Member of the Week is … *drum roll* @kalpeshvaghela! Kudos for all your help in the SharePoint community and helping our Community Managers moderate spam.

Following a break in events, we had a new AMA on Windows 365 featuring an expert panel including @Christian_Montoya, @Doug_Coombs, @nandita_sharma, and @Donna_Ryan and moderated by @Heather Poulsen. Mark your calendars for the next Windows 365 AMA on September 28, 2022 from 8-9 AM PT, and keep the conversation going in the Windows 365 Community!

And over on the blogs, @mjschanne posted an article sharing their experience with trying out machine learning including resources used, takeaways, and next steps. Check it out and let us know in the comments if you have any tips or tricks for machine learning beginners!

Unanswered Questions - Can you help them out?

Every week, users come to the MTC seeking guidance or technical support for their Microsoft solutions, and we want to help highlight a few of these each week in the hopes of getting these questions answered by our amazing community!

@Mysticode is looking for ideas to help resolve a document error they’re getting when trying to "Edit Anyway" on a pre-set read-only Excel file.

Meanwhile, @JoeMorphew is seeing an increase in the number of malicious emails being delivered after switching their Office 365 email security provider from Mimecast to Defender. If you have any recommendations, I’m sure Joe would appreciate them!

Act III

I want to cap off these roundups with a little extra fun every week, so this week, I’ll leave you with a piece of trivia!

Did you know that a cow-bison hybrid is called a... "beefalo?”

With that, I wish you all a great weekend!
