Hello and Happy Friday, MTC! We’re back with your weekly community recap after taking a break for Microsoft Ignite. To catch up on all the announcements from last week, make sure you check out our Microsoft Ignite 2022 | Live Update Feed!

Now let's see what’s been going on this week in the MTC…

MTC Moments of the Week

To kick things off, our MTC Member of the Week shoutout goes to @Kurt Mayer, who’s been a huge help in the Microsoft Intune Community recently! Big kudos to you, Kurt :)

To unpack the latest updates from Ignite, we had a two-for-one Windows 365 event special with 2 episodes of Windows in the Cloud. On Tuesday, Director of Product Management for Windows 365 @Scott Manchester and his colleagues @Matt Shadbolt@Christiaan_Brinkhoff, and @Tony_Checkal were on hand to demonstrate the new Windows 365 Cloud capabilities and enhancements announced at Ignite.

And on Wednesday, the Windows 365 team had their monthly AMA to answer the MTC’s burning questions about Windows 365 features, deployment, customization, and best practices. If you missed out on either event, you can catch up on demand and register for the next session at https://aka.ms/WindowsInTheCloud.

Over on the blogs this week, @Dimitri_Pletschette wrote about the new Mesh Avatars feature in Microsoft Teams and shared his experience setting up his first avatar. Very cool!

Unanswered Questions - Can you help them out?

Every week, users come to the MTC seeking guidance or technical support for their Microsoft solutions, and we want to help highlight a few of these each week in the hopes of getting these questions answered by our amazing community!

In the Azure forum, @HunterJacob is seeking advice on how to connect a private endpoint to a dedicated pool within ADF.

Meanwhile in the Teams forum, @FKerling shared their experience with some persistent sound issues in Teams and what troubleshooting they’ve done so far. Perhaps you have you encountered similar issues and can help them out?

Next Week in Events – Mark Your Calendars!

We have a BIG event coming up next week that you’re not going to want to miss – the Microsoft Technical Takeoff with Windows and Microsoft Intune!

Streeting Monday October 24, join us for four days of demos, deep dives, and live AMA sessions—all designed to get you up to speed on the latest features, capabilities, and scenarios for Windows, Microsoft Intune, and beyond. Check out the full schedule and RSVP, then let us know in the comments what sessions interest you the most!

And to close out with your fun fact of the week…

Calling all movie buffs and fans of the Back to the Future franchise, because today – October 21 - is the date Marty McFly originally travels to the past and kicks off his wild time travel adventure, otherwise known as Back to the Future Day! Did you know the original time machine was going to be more of a time chamber instead of the iconic DeLorean? Imagine how that would’ve changed the series!

With that, I wish you all a wonderful weekend, and a Happy Diwali to those who celebrate!
