MTC Weekly Roundup – January 27

Hello and happy Friday, MTC! January is almost over if you can believe it (I can’t!), but the year is just getting started and we have tons of events and content coming your way soon!

 

So, let’s recap this week’s happenings and take a look at what’s coming in the community!

 

MTC Moments of the Week

 

To start off, we want to give a shout out to this week’s MTC Member of the Week, ! Recep joined the MTC earlier this month (welcome!), and they’ve already hit the ground running by engaging in the SharePoint and Exchange forums. Hats off to you!

 

Next up, in events, we had our first monthly AMA of the year with experts from the Windows 365 team, including , , , and . This month’s topic is the end user experience, and next month’s topic is how to keep your Cloud PCs safe, so save the date for February 8th, and head to the Windows in the Cloud page to add to your calendar!

 

We also had our Windows Office Hours this week, which take place every third Thursday of the month. Each session brings together product experts, servicing experts, and engineers from across Microsoft to discuss best practices and answer questions, and this month, we had , , , , and . Next Office Hours session is February 16, so keep an eye out for the event here and you can post your questions early!

 

Lastly, over on the blogs this week, in honor of Data Privacy Week, we are excited to share the public preview of Microsoft Priva working hand in hand with Microsoft Purview Compliance Manager, which you can read more about in this article by  Bencomo

 

Unanswered Questions - Can you help them out?

 

Every week, users come to the MTC seeking guidance or technical support for their Microsoft solutions, and we want to help highlight a few of these each week in the hopes of getting these questions answered by our amazing community!

 

In the Teams forum,  has run into a sudden sign-in issue when using the Teams/Outlook apps on their Android Pixel. They’re already tried a few steps to resolve the issue but are looking to the MTC for help, if you have any tips.

 

Meanwhile, over in the Excel forum,  is getting this error message when trying to record a Macro. Any advice?
