Data Privacy Week may have ended but Data Privacy is an all-year thing. Microsoft understands how important Data Privacy is to not only your Microsoft investments and portfolio, but to your entire data estate.  Since the launch of Microsoft Priva, we have been committed to continually improving data privacy and supporting organizations on their privacy journey. Check out the new features available in public preview.

During this year's Privacy and Privacy Week, Microsoft highlighted the latest privacy and security features and solutions available in its products and services. These solutions help organizations protect their data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Overall, Microsoft Privacy and Privacy Week provided valuable insights and information for executives looking to protect their organization's data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.

To recap Microsoft Priva is a suite of privacy and security solutions that help organizations protect their data and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Key features of the two products (Privacy Risk Management and Subjects Rights Request) include:

  • Proactive identification and protection against privacy risks, such as data hoarding, data transfers, and data oversharing.
  • Automated and scalable management of subject rights requests.
  • Compliance with privacy regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
  • Integration with other Microsoft 365 solutions, such as Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Intune

Additionally, Microsoft offers a range of resources and support to help organizations implement and manage their privacy and security solutions.
