Celebrating the Innovators of Tomorrow: Announcing the Top 3 teams of the 2023 Imagine Cup

This post has been republished via RSS; it originally appeared at: New blog articles in Microsoft Community Hub.

Once again, Imagine Cup has lived up to its reputation of fostering innovation and providing a platform for bright young minds to showcase their technical abilities. The pathway to the final 3 was highly competitive, with students from across the globe presenting their cutting-edge solutions to tackle some of the world's biggest challenges  in the categories of Earth, Education, Health, and Lifestyle.

First, the 48 teams who made it to the World Finals presented to a panel of industry expert judges in a thrilling bracket style competition format.  Students shared their original concepts by pitching why their solution should make it to the World Championship based on how they tackled a local or global issue, utilization of Azure technology, commitment to accessibility and inclusivity, commercial viability of their business concept, and potential for their project to drive impact.

Finally, the judges selected the top team within each region who will continue on to compete for the Imagine Cup trophy at the World Championship in May. Join us at Microsoft Build to watch the competition and see who will win the grand prize of Imagine Cup World Champion, USD100,000, and a mentoring session with Microsoft Chairman and CEO, Satya Nadella!
