We’re honored that for the second year in a row KuppingerCole has recognized Microsoft Entra ID as an Overall Leader in the 2023 Leadership Compass for Access Management. This is the highest distinction that KuppingerCole grants to an identity and access management solution, writing that “Microsoft continues to move Microsoft Entra ID in a positive direction with innovative capabilities” while awarding us a 5/5 rating in the categories of: security, functionality, deployment, interoperability, and usability. Additionally, Entra ID has been designated as a Product Leader, Innovation Leader, and Market Leader within the segment.
2023 Leadership Compass for Access Management
We’re ecstatic that Microsoft has been recognized as an overall leader in Access Management, as we view identity as the trust fabric for the digital ecosystem, a critical ground zero from which all downstream interactions originate and rely on. Therefore, we continue to invest in many cloud and hybrid scenarios, such as security service edge, decentralized identity, app and workload identities, partner and guest identities, multicloud, and Zero Trust. It’s humbling to see these investments recognized by the industry.
The credit for these distinctions must be shared with you – our customers. Your insights guide our product direction, and your thorough feedback provided in our collaborative engineering and public preview programs helps refine our product experience.
