Get ready for the biggest Halo esports tournament of the year! Today marks the beginning of the Halo World Championship 2017 finals, where 12 worthy contending teams from around the world have come to ESL Studios in Burbank, CA to compete for $1,000,000 in prizing and the title of Halo World Champion.

The competition kicks off at 10:00 a.m. PDT/1:00 p.m. EDT, where Team EnVyUs and Splyce will face off in the first match of the day. We’ll be streaming live on Beam.pro/Halo, Twitch.tv/Halo, Twitter and Facebook, as well as side streams on Beam.pro/HaloWC2, Twitch.tv/ESL_Halo and Facebook.com/ESLHalo.

If you haven’t been following the tournament so far, don’t worry – check out the deep dive on Halo Waypoint where Simms and Strongside share some of their thoughts on what they hope to see.
