We believe a woman’s place is in the tech industry, and Microsoft Ignite is proud to offer a strong Women in Business and Tech program hosted by Dona Sarkar, Chief NinjaCat of the Windows Insider Program at Microsoft to further enhance your experience and grow your skill set at Microsoft Ignite. All Microsoft attendees are welcome to participate.

OnSunday, Sept. 24—the day before Microsoft Ignite officially begins—you can spend the whole day learning and connecting with peers. Our Women in Business and Tech Sessions feature terrific speakers covering a broad range of tech career topicslike Crucial Conversations in Your Career, How toUse LinkedIn to Achieve Your Professional Goals, and It’s Okay to Fail: What it Means to Have a Growth Mindset.

Once the conference officially begins, we have daily programming to help you level up your career and expand your network.

  • Monday, Sept 25: Join Tarah Wheeler as she talks about what it means to be a woman in the tech industry and how to take your career to the next level through negotiating, interviewing, and mentorships.

  • Tuesday, Sept 26: Daymond John—a pioneer in the fashion industry, a Shark on ABC’s Shark Tank, and a New York Times best-selling author—leads a luncheon where he will tell his success story.

  • Wednesday, Sept 27: Hear from a panel of senior female leaders as they share their stories and offer advice on being fearless, standing out in the tech industry, and making a difference.

  • Thursday, Sept 28: Build your confidence to negotiate in “Women Do Ask.” This session addresses why negotiating is such a difficult, yet critical, job skill.

  • Friday, Sept 29: You’re invited to our Moderated Feedback Session breakfast where you can help us make future Microsoft conferences even more empowering.

No matter your role or your experience in tech, Microsoft Ignite is here to support and empower you to build the career you want. We’re looking forward to a great conference and hope to see you there!
