A new user experience will soon be provided in the landing page of adf.azure.com to enable users to create Data Factory with only one click! This will allow users to create a Data Factory that can be available within several seconds. This new feature will be available in several weeks.
In the new creation experience, only 3 requirements are mandatory. Brand new users can use default values given in Data Factory name, location and subscription to achieve a one-click creation.
After clicking create, your Data Factory will be available within several seconds and you will be redirected to the homepage of the newly created factory.
The new creation experience aims to let new users quickly start creating and using data factory, and also lets experienced users create a data factory for a quick POC test. If you want to have more advanced customizations, you can also click "Azure Portal" to create your data factory in the Azure Portal.
For new users without a subscription, you can click "Free Trial" to create an Azure subscription. After creating the subscription, click "I have created a subscription" to start creating a data factory.
If you already have data factories under the chosen subscription, it's available for you to select an existing data factory to land on the Azure Data Factory homepage.
After clicking Continue, you will be redirected to the selected Data Factory's homepage.
We love to hear feedback from users about how to keep improving our creation experience. If you have any thoughts or suggestions regarding the new creation experience, please leave comments on the blog!
