Experiencing Data Latency issue in Azure Portal for Many Data Types – 10/26 – Resolved

We've confirmed that all systems are back to normal with no customer impact as of 10/26, 19:00 UTC. Our logs show the incident started on 10/26, 17:45 UTC and that during the 1 hour and 15 minutes that it took to resolve the issue 62.3% of customers experienced Consistent data latency and incorrect alert activation.
  • Root Cause: The failure was due to backend service became unhealthy causing data latency.
  • Incident Timeline: 1 Hours & 15 minutes - 10/26, 17:45 UTC through 10/26, 19:00 UTC
We understand that customers rely on Log Analytics as a critical service and apologize for any impact this incident caused.
